Captain Laserhawk A Blood Dragon Remix почна интересно. Малко заимства и рециклира от маса популярни sci-fi фречайзи (Blade Runner, Cyberpunk 2077, Beneath a Steel Sky, Space Cobra, Super Sentai сериалите, Assassin's Creed, комиксовият Suicide Squad, Sokoban, Metal Gear Solid (?) иии...писна ми да изброявам), но поне не се взима насериозно. Частите с ретро гейм графиката ме скъсаха от смях.

Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire - антология от 10 10 минутни епизодчета на тема афро-футуризъм и афро-стиймпънк. Сравненията с love death and robots са неизбежни, тъй като други анимирани антологии скоро не съм гледал, и всичките са в полза на LDR. Ограничението от 10 минути на епизод им е изиграло лоша шега, половината епизоди са прекалено кратки и прекъсват точно като станат интересни, или си сгъчкват развръзката в една ръшната минута накрая. По същата причина и историйките са доста прости и еднотипни - почти всичките могат да се съмъризират или се римуват с "дете/тийн не слуша родителите си и решава на своя глава да премине през ритуала на съзряването твърде рано - получава много яки супер сили - побеждава лошите и/или се сдобрява с родителите си"
Анимациите са стилово разнообразни и изпипани - няма опити за фотореалистична графика обаче, всичките са различни варианти на "детско".

Pariah Nexus - отново сме в света на Warhammer 40K. Почти толкова добро, колкото Angels of Death. Жалко, че е само 3 епизода. Рядко получаваме прилично 3D CGI с толкова добри диалози и игра на дублиращите актьори.

По някаква причина почнах да гледам Scott Pilgrim Takes Off при това с японския дублаж - привлекли са доста добри и известни сеюта. Засега го кара по-забавно от филма, защото се фокусира върху останалите персонажи, а не Скот, който ми най-малко интересният. Визията е добре, с едно изключение: в доста сцени обекти, които се предполага да са прекалено близко или прекалено далече от "фокуса на камерата" са размазани и с двойни ръбове. Не е първата 2D анимация с този ефект, на който попадам, ама тук е прекалено силно изразено или някак не е правилно напаснато, защото ме дразни. Може проблемът да е в астигматизма ми, а може и наистина да са прекалили.
Във финалните надписи е отбелязано, че не само Science SARU са работили по шоуто, но още и големи студия, като Wit, OLM и Graphinica.

Тръгва амбициозно и брутално, със страхотна анимация и хубава музика. Не мисля, че е за аниме-раздела, понеже е анимирано от френско студио, говорят на английски и една от водещите фигури е сценаристът Майкъл Грийн, който е работил по "Логан".
С това на ума - напомня на някакво омесване на поредицата на Кенджи Мисуми за Самотния вълк с "Мулан", с доста голяма доза социален коментар, и с още по-голяма доза кръв. Ще гледам и по-натам.

Трети сезон на The Bad Batch започна добре. Първият епизод е излишно туткав, ако питат мен, но следващите два оправят нещата. И въобще най-важното си е на място - sci-fi design porn-ото...е и музиката (във втора серия малко напомняше Aliens) и звуковите ефекти.
