The coffee had been steadily growing more and more execrable for the space of three weeks, till at last it had ceased to be coffee altogether and had assumed the nature of mere discolored water — so this person said. He said it was so weak that it was transparent an inch in depth around the edge of the cup. As he approached the table one morning he saw the transparent edge — by means of his extraordinary vision long before he got to his seat. He went back and complained in a high-handed way to Capt. Duncan. He said the coffee was disgraceful. The Captain showed his. It seemed tolerably good. The incipient mutineer was more outraged than ever, then, at what he denounced as the partiality shown the captain’s table over the other tables in the ship. He flourished back and got his cup and set it down triumphantly, and said:

“Just try that mixture once, Captain Duncan.”

He smelt it — tasted it — smiled benignantly — then said:

“It is inferior — for coffee — but it is pretty fair tea.”

In the Zach Snyder produced version, Supergirl learns the dog has bone cancer and puts it down by snapping its neck. Then she flies off, crying, accidentally knocking a building onto the troop of children.

It makes $700 million globally.
In the Zach Snyder version she has been replaced by Batman. Because everything in the DC is about Batman.
In SnyderLand, it would be BatPuppy that got killed, sending Batman into a rage-vengeance spiral.
You forgot the part were she dresses like a stripper and snorts white kyptonite.
In the Snyder version, all those little girls are actually mental patients who think they’re strippers, because why the fuck not.

7 Disturbing Scenes That Prove James Bond Is A Psychopath - http://www.cracked.com/article_21534_7- ... opath.html
Now, Bond's not a scientist (unless you count excessive drinking and spreading venereal disease as a "science"), so it's no surprise that he can't figure out the chemical properties of a solution by simply picking it up and staring. So instead of, say, taking a couple of vials back to Q for analysis, 007 opens one of the vials and leaves it standing in a precarious position before dashing secretively out of the room.

Not surprisingly, when the scientists come back, they knock over the vial which turns out to contain some kind of toxic gas that kills them both while Bond observes from a secure position, not unlike a child hiding behind the couch from a scary movie.

It's pretty fucked up that instead of doing some basic detective work, Bond uses the scientists as guinea pigs. Sure, they might be bad guys, but they also might not be. They're just a couple of scientists, and they're working for the Bond-verse equivalent of Richard Branson. For all we know, they may think they're producing weapons to help fight terrorism, or a better first-class commercial flying experience. Regardless, Bond never bothered to find out before locking them both in a death trap.

But a man bursting out of the ground from the realm of the dead to track two dudes down for a rifle and an apology doesn't make for the most exciting film.

Spoiler: show

A Sioux hunting party came upon the living man-corpse and helped him fashion some branches into a crude raft, which he sailed to Fort Kiowa and safety.
