Нищо изначално ЗЛЕ не виждам в тоя сетъп на ниво концепция, особено ако ще теглят майна на останалите и ще рибуутват. Даже би било готино и крийпи, донякъде очовечен терминатор и донякъде емоционално роботизирана Сара Конър.
Само дето вероятно няма да е яката психологическа арка, която си представям в главата си... От друга страна, режисира Алан Тейлър, а не МакДжи, тъй че има надежда.

На ниво концепция не е толкова зле, но на теория се променя цялата по-нататъшна времева линия - друг баща, други деца, друга бъдеща организация за борба с машините и т.н. пък те насила пак ще ни вържат към същите персонажи.
Но да кажем, че не ни пука за това.
Мен тръпки ме побиват от евентуалната реализация на тази концепция, защото хем ще опитват нови неща, хем ще се оприличават със старите филми.

Както толкова държат да експлоатират темата, защо просто не продължат със същите терминатори (що пък не и разнообразни), но с различни цели за терминиране (имаше такива намеци в първия и в третия филм) и различни времеви алтернативи след това?

А и то наистина е по-скоро друга треска от континуума, просто няма да има изобщо връзка с предните филми. Което в тайм-травъл сюжети върви.

Четвърти Терминатор има колкото и четвърти Индиана Джоунс. Тоест няма.
На новия може да му хвърля един поглед от носталгия, пък и Джеймс Камерън и Гейл Ан Хърд са в сценарния екип, това е добре. Плюс това Алан Тейлър не е случаен човек, както отбелязваш, та има надежда за нещо прилично.
А щом е рибуут, нямам проблем със спойлъра от сюжета в линка от io9. Точно тоя франчайз е идеален за алтернативни прочити предвид времевите заигравки.

След като останах тотално разочарован от Терминатор 4, който не помръдна цялата история и със сантиметър напред, взех че прочетох оригиналния му сценарий (който може да бъде намерен от всекиго в нета качен, естествено на инглиш). Докъм средата е горе-долу същата концепция, но след това става тотално друг филм, който щеше да представлява страхотен обрат за поредицата. Обвинявам продуцентите (или студиото) за това, че не са се решили на доста по-нестандартния и размазващ финал.
