Possibly the next best thing as adventure anime come, this series sets itself apart through its focus on character development and holding the plot continuation second. Juuni Kokki's heroine starts off the depressed Yoko Nakajima. Her high school life is anything but flashy but she is forced to let it go when a strange being named Keiki enters the scene calling upon her help, its turns out she is a queen of some far away world. On the back of some gigantic fantasy creatures Yoko and her friends become inhabitants of the world of Juuni Kokki (12 kingdoms). This starts their long adventure which rewards the patient viewer.
There is definitely lots of intrigue and beauty to be found in Juuni Kokki, as a package it is very complete, crisp animation, great soundtrack and perhaps overy developed and well designed characters. Yoko and her friends grow within the series and this leads through lots of adventures.
A definited thumbs up unless your attention span counts in nanoseconds.
Идеята не е кой знае колко оригинална, обаче реализацията е адски добра. Красива и плавна анимация, много добра музика(основно инструментална), героите търпят развитие, историята е доволно заплетена. Точно приключих с първия story ark и съм мноооооого доволен...
