Аз пък мисля, че Уолбърг ИЗОБЩО не става за Макс Пейн. В момента се опитвам да измисля друг подходящ, като ми текне, ше пиша.

По едно време спрягаха Колин Фарел за ролята. Не знам, де, а и не ми пука особено, аз чакам филма заради екшъна.

Винаги съм си представял Мел Гиблсън. Може би заради ролята му в Разплата? Но за съжаление няма да се получи.

Ми ако щеш чисто визуално. Макс Пейн просто ми е много по-различен типаж от Уолбърг. Много повече Томас Джейн примерно. Ей такъв тип актьор, макар и може би не толкова напомпан.

In the movie, a father and his son walk alone through burned America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the ash on the wind. It is cold enough to crack stones, and when the snow falls it is gray. The sky is dark. Their destination is the coast, although they don't know what, if anything, awaits them there. They have nothing; just a pistol to defend themselves against the lawless bands that stalk the road, the clothes they are wearing, a cart of scavenged food and each other.

"The Road" is directed by John Hillcoat (The Proposition) and in addition to Mortensen, also stars Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce and Robert Duvall. The new film is scheduled to appear in theaters on November 11th, in limited release.

Освен тва, не са за тая година, но излезна инфо, че ше се правят Джурасик Парк 4 и филми по Алхимика (с Фишбърн, високобюджетен, като Английският пациент да речем) и за Тийч Черната Брада (Дриймуъркс).

В цитата пише че филмът ще излезе в лимитед риалийз? Това означава ли че няма да го пуснат нормално по кината? Което почва да ме съмнява и за бюджета на филма. Това че има такъв каст съвсем не означава че ще е правен за холивудски хит.

След бърз чек в ИМДБ видях че още не се знае кой ще режисира Джурасик Парка. Спилбърг засега е само продуцент. Само да не се получи нещо като ужасната тройка.

А за Алхимика нищо не мога да видя защото било авейлъбъл само за IMDbPro. Гадовете се опитват да изкарат някой лев от сайтчето си вече.

Споко, огромна част от филмите като цяло излизат в лимитид първо. После някои ги "разширяват", ако им тръгне. Кучетата и Кръвта ги държаха сума ти време в лимитид и май така и не ги пуснаха във уайд. Така че нас тук не ни касае толкоз пряко. Дано да дойде. (Ясно, че не е "холивудски филм", идеята е да е Оскаров, по-скоро.)

Harvey Weinstein will produce Paulo Coelho's international best-selling novel "The Alchemist" and The Weinstein Company will hold exclusive world-wide motion picture and television rights for the film.

Since its debut in Brazil in 1988, Paulo Coelho's "The Alchemist" has captured the hearts and minds of millions of readers across the world selling over 30 million copies and reaching first place on best-seller lists in 18 countries. The book has also captivated a new generation of readers and has appeared on The New York Times bestseller list for 34 weeks, placing at #6 on this week's paperback trade fiction list.

The Weinstein Company is currently in negotiations with an Oscar-winning screenwriter to adapt the novel into a screenplay, which will be announced shortly. Production teams from past Weinstein produced films, such as "Gangs of New York," "Cold Mountain," "The English Patient," and "The Aviator," will be brought on board to work on the film. As producer, Harvey Weinstein has already begun to scout locations all over the world.

Various locations in Europe, as well as the Middle East, including Jordan, Abu Dhabi and Northern Africa will serve as backdrops for this global shoot. To join Laurence Fishburne in the cast, a search in Spain and Latin America for the role of Santiago will start shortly and other stars are expected to be announced to round out the cast.

Fishburne ("The Matrix" trilogy) will also direct the film.

The Alchemist is the magical story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure as extravagant as any ever found. From his home in Spain he journeys to the markets of Tangiers and across the Egyptian desert to a fateful encounter with the alchemist. The story of the treasures Santiago finds along the way teaches us, as only a few stories have done, about the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, learning to read the omens strewn along life's path, and, above all, following our dreams.

Алхимикът беше помия като книга, ще е помия и като филм...

Аз Алхимикът не успях да я дочета. Стигнах само да средата. Предполагам обаче че като филм ще се получи доста по-приемливо.

А Виго за да се подготви за The Road явно беше толкова брадясал на Оскарите.

Големи хвалби за Ийстууд от Кан. Очаквано, но гот.

This morning's competition film is definitely going to join the front of the pack, though it's unlikely that a Hollywood film, even one as good as this, will take the big prize. Instead, we're thinking that the jury may do what they did last year and use their special dispensation to create a one-off award for its director, Clint Eastwood. Quite simply, his new film Changeling is flawless, with Clint proving yet again that he is the true master of the great American film. The French title translates as The Exchange, which is a clearer reflection of this fascinating, multi-faceted drama, which begins in 1928 when single mother Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie) returns from work to find her son Walter missing. Several months later Walter is returned to her, but Christine isn't too happy about it, chiefly because the boy is not her son: he's a good three inches shorter, his dental records don't match and his teacher swears blind that the kid has never set foot in her classroom.

Fans of classic Hollywood neo-noir will be delighted to hear that the force, literally, behind this mix-up is the LAPD, whose role in the affair becomes more and more desperate and fascistic as the tangle unfolds. In this way, the film resembles a new Chinatown or, more realistically, LA Confidential: on the surface it's a story about a woman's fight for justice but underneath there's a terrific adult drama about the painful birth of the latter-day City Of Angels. Hollywood surfaces towards the end in a nice nod to the 1935 Oscar broadcast, with Jolie tut-tutting about the “overrated” Cleopatra, having correctly placed a bet on Frank Capra's It Happened One Night instead. Is this hubris or tempting fate? Because, early next year, it's safe to say that Changeling will be in the Academy frame itself, when the 2008 nominations are announced, with likely places in the Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor (for John Malkovich as Christine's champion), Best Screenplay and Best Score, for the haunting theme penned by Clint himself. No praise is too high for this thoughtful, engrossing, intelligent film. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
