Най-важното за този тип продукции - битките бяха доста глупави, а хореографията и анимациите свързани с тях нищо впечатляващо.
Играта на voice actor-ите беше адски дървена, особено тази на Орм. Изключение прави Зеленият фенер, който се изпълнява от Нейтън Филиън, но мисля че проблемът не е в останалите актьори, а в концепцията на режисьора как трябва да звучат героите (сковано и декларативно).

5...4...3...2...1 Thunderbirds Are Go!
Впечатления от първите два епизода. Накратко - nerdgasm и mecha porn.
Много хора не харесват новата посока, но за мен това е доста любопитно решение - вложени са допълнителни усилия дизайнът не да е по-естествен, а нарочно да прилича на оригиналното шоу.
Морската вода, равнините, планините и градовете - всичко това силно напомня за миниатюрните модели снимани с висока скорост в оригиналното ТВ предаване от 60-те.
Автомобилите са като колички от matchbox. Thunderbird-овете са лъскава детска мечта за коледен подарък. Героите приличат на анимирани пластмасови кукли (загледайте се в очите и трапчинките по лицето).
Всичко това не е следствие от лошо или евтино CGI, а решение на артистите - гонене на максимална близост.
Единствената разлика е, че charachter design-а е по-близък до този в Captain Scarlet и героите не се с чудовищно огромни глави (заради електрическия механизъм задвижващ устните в оригиналните марионетки).
За мен точно тези nerd усилия са криворазбрани и лошо приети от сегашната публика.
В механично отношение подобренията са много - познатите секванции, но по-диманични и с много повече детайли, които преди оставаха извън кадър.
На пръв поглед за мен имаше една нелогична промяна - сменили са формата на басейна от под който излита TB1. Сега е правоъгълен, а не милионерската изгъзица от преди.
После съобразих, че така се демонстрира, как братята го ползват за физическа подготовка, а не за да си пият коктейлите около него.
Има и други адекватни промени - новата роля на портретите и най-важното ТинТин вече е action chick, а не damsel in distress каквато беше преди. Няма го и баща и - в ролята на стереотипен азиатец слуга.
Напрежението и екшънът са почти непрестанни. Героите се хвърлят от едно приключение в друго. Има и повече действия в космоса.
Намигания към други стари шоута на Гери и Силвия Андерсон.
- Оказва се че любимото ТВ шоу на Скот е Stingray.
- В тези епизоди лейди Пенелопе е облечена с нещо, което е заимствало елементи от униформата на Captain Scarlet.
- Името на новия Thunderbird напомня за организацията за борба с извънземните в UFO.
Музиката е фрашкана с познати музикални мотиви.
Звуковото оформление и смесване са страхотни и са много впечатляващи на добра система.
Играта на VA-овете ми идва малко странно, но може би още не съм свикнал.
Много съм доволен от новите серии (на корем неща, които харесвам), но маса хора не са. Било защото не е точно като в детството им, било защото им идва елементарно и пластмасово.
Ми, народе, все пак говорим за таргет аудитория 6-11 години. Не може да има мрак, секс и политически послания. Относно дървеността - с малки изключения повечето нови 3D телевизионни анимации за деца изглеждат много по-зле.

Всичко това не е следствие от лошо или евтино CGI, а решение на артистите - гонене на максимална близост.
Единствената разлика е, че charachter design-а е по-близък до този в Captain Scarlet и героите не се с чудовищно огромни глави (заради електрическия механизъм задвижващ устните в оригиналните марионетки).
За мен точно тези nerd усилия са криворазбрани и лошо приети от сегашната публика.
В механично отношение подобренията са много - познатите секванции, но по-диманични и с много повече детайли, които преди оставаха извън кадър.
На пръв поглед за мен имаше една нелогична промяна - сменили са формата на басейна от под който излита TB1. Сега е правоъгълен, а не милионерската изгъзица от преди.
После съобразих, че така се демонстрира, как братята го ползват за физическа подготовка, а не за да си пият коктейлите около него.
Има и други адекватни промени - новата роля на портретите и най-важното ТинТин вече е action chick, а не damsel in distress каквато беше преди. Няма го и баща и - в ролята на стереотипен азиатец слуга.
Напрежението и екшънът са почти непрестанни. Героите се хвърлят от едно приключение в друго. Има и повече действия в космоса.
Намигания към други стари шоута на Гери и Силвия Андерсон.
- Оказва се че любимото ТВ шоу на Скот е Stingray.
- В тези епизоди лейди Пенелопе е облечена с нещо, което е заимствало елементи от униформата на Captain Scarlet.
- Името на новия Thunderbird напомня за организацията за борба с извънземните в UFO.
Музиката е фрашкана с познати музикални мотиви.
Звуковото оформление и смесване са страхотни и са много впечатляващи на добра система.
Играта на VA-овете ми идва малко странно, но може би още не съм свикнал.
